Film Noir Poem

The Robbery The car keys rang like a bell  The engine roared Gunshots filled the darkness  The speed of the Cadillac  The drugstore alarm rang. The motor buzzed down the gloomy street Street lamps illuminated the car chase  The man had jitters  He lit a flame to the cig Smoke pushed against the car windows  Police with pistols in hand  Tough clenched teeth  Pools of sweat  The risk for love Two engines crashed with a bang  The radio shut off Gasoline leaked The hunt was over.  For money and love  The thief went out in a bang.
